- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- For green sauce
- 1/2 bunch coriander leaves
- 1/4 bunch mint leaves
- 2 green chillies
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- For assembling
- 8 pita bread
- 1 cup lettuce leaves roughly chopped
- 1 cucumber roughly chopped
- 1 beetroot thinly sliced
- 1 cup grated carrots
- French fries as required
Steps to make to make Shawarma
- Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, salt, white pepper, black pepper, all spice, red chili powder, chicken tikka masala, vinegar, yogurt, chicken powder and oil for 30 minutes.



- Heat oil in a pan. Put marinated chicken and fry for 10 minutes. Cook till chicken tender.

- For sauce: mix all the ingredients well.


- For green sauce: blend all the ingredients in the blender.


- Assembling
Fry pita bread on both side. Remove. In a plate put fry pita bread place lettuce leaves, chicken strips, cucumber, carrots, beetroot and French fries. Drizzle sauce and green sauce and roll the shawarma. You can make pockets from pita bread too.


- Shawarma is ready to serve.
